Teak is a tropical wood with a high oil content that acts as a natural water repellant. Teak's medium hardness provides a luxurious cutting experience while keeping your knives sharp. The board includes a juice groove on one side to catch liquid from spilling off your board. Teakhaus uses Teak from sustainable forests and holds the FSC® certification. Teakhaus products are inspired by the love of food, the passion for cooking and respect for our planet. The heart of Teakhaus is the use of 100% sustainable wood. Meaning all their products are truly eco friendly! Due to the organic appearance of the wood, natural wood colors will vary between boards. No two boards will be identical! This also causes a varied light/dark engraving effect within the logo.
Care Instructions: Hand wash only and make your board look new again by adding a few drops of mineral oil.
