Description
Chives will grow well indoors in pots in a sunny spot or outdoors in full sun. This easy-to-grow herb adds a mild onion flavor to soups, salads, egg, and potato dishes. After frosts have ended, sow seeds 1/4" deep. Sow several seeds near each other so the seedlings will form clumps. Water regularly and fertilize if needed. Harvest the plant tips for an ongoing supply of fresh, tender leaves.
