Nylon is particularly suited to be flown in damp or maritime environments. In addition to being exceptionally tough, SolarMax Nylon is also very lightweight letting these flags fly in gentler breezes than polyester flags. Our 10ft x 15ft American flag, which is made in the USA, has these quality features: appliqued stars ensure a beautiful star field on large flags, the stripes are lock-stitched for added reinforcement, the fly hem has an additional layer of zig-zag stitching on top of multiple rows of lock-stitching and the poly-duck header is finished with solid brass rust resistant grommets.
